Blessings to you; My wife Cheryl was watching Rodney on TV And I was out in our yard planting. She had called the prayer line and talked to a brother named Alen, she asked him if he could pray for me, because I suffer from chronic pain, resulting from a wound I had received while in the Marine Corps and serving in Vietnam, 35 years ago. I had no idea she was doing this, He did pray. Later she asked me how I was doing, I told her that I felt great and that I had little pain. Well, then she told me!!! I thank God for my wife, because although my bones are still messed up I am not in as much pain as I have been in for 35 years.. We have walked with Jesus for 25 years. We have been worship leaders at or church, we are forever telling people about HIM. I have known He could heal me I just haven’t really thought it would happen.. thank you so much for doing what you are doing God bless you all Gerard & Cheryl Towle
I hadn’t been planning on going to The River until Sunday, June 3rd, 2007, but I’d had an accident with my dog and my left arm was hurting so badly at the shoulder that I went ahead and took myself to the spiritual emergency room last Friday. Pastor Tom, the anointed guest speaker, called out that there was a woman in my section in a lot of pain and that was definitely me. Then when I got up there, he started saying things about my neck and my feet – feet, feet, feet. And I thought, “Hmmm.” Well, it just now dawned on me – he was talking about my left heel because it had been hurting for a while. But I couldn’t think of it at the time. I could only remember having surgery when I was 14 for having crooked bones in my feet. And as for my neck, I was in physical therapy last September for it. When he had me move my head from side to side, that used to be difficult for me to do on both sides. But Friday when he had me do it, I could do it freely. Thank you, God, for healing me! I’m able to move my left arm a lot more, now, and I am not in the kind of pain that I was in last Friday. And Saturday during Praise and Worship at my church, I just lifted my left arm with all my strength to glorify God. I’ve also started praying with other people for their physical needs so that they, too, can be healed. And, just like Pastor Tom said that I would do, I DID drive home with both arms on the steering wheel!
